Checkr can run background checks on candidates without email addresses using manual orders; however, there are a few important things to know:
- Checkr will not be able to communicate any notifications to the candidate, including report status updates and action items,
- An email address is required for logging into the Candidate Portal, and
- Manual orders cannot be ordered in bulk.
If you have a candidate who does not provide an email address, inform them that they can contact Checkr by calling (844) 824-3257 during business hours.
Note: Manual orders require your certification that proper authorization has been obtained from your candidate(s) and are therefore not enabled by default. Contact Checkr Customer Support to enable manual orders.
