Why does my background report show a county/state I never lived in?
The SSN Trace identifies potential addresses that are associated with your SSN, not necessarily ones that you’ve lived in. For example, it can include counties where you’ve applied for loans or received mail. The address history is used to determine which counties and other databases should be searched for potential public records.
Please note that we get address histories from a variety of sources. The SSN Trace identifies information compiled from credit and banking history, which is obtained from credit bureaus.
