When an applicant disputes their report Checkr conducts a reinvestigation to gather additional information, and correct any potential discrepancies on the applicant's background check report.
By law, Checkr has a maximum of 30 days to complete any given reinvestigation, but Checkr strives to complete reinvestigations as quickly as possible. The average processing time for Checkr reinvestigations is 10 business days.
You can also receive notifications each time a report is disputed, and a reinvestigation is initiated, by subscribing to email notifications. Find more information about email notifications here.
