Overview
An international motor vehicle record (MVR) report with history helps you determine whether a candidate’s driving history is suitable and reliable enough for them to drive for you. Assessing candidates' driving histories helps you hire for positions that involve using a company vehicle, transporting goods, or representing an organization while traveling.
International MVR reports with history verifies the information below:
- Name
- Birth date
- License class
- Violations
- Suspensions
The information in the report is limited to a single province, so you should search for the candidate’s record in the province that issued their driver’s license. Due to privacy legislation, Alberta provides MVR reports to candidates only. Candidates with licenses from Alberta get their own MVR reports and upload them to Checkr Canada.
