Summary of Your Rights Under the FCRA
The attached document, "Summary of Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act", must be provided to candidates before you take Adverse Action against them. This document may also be provided during the candidate's consent to undergo a background check. This version reflects the compliance changes mandated by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as of September 21, 2018.
Notice to Users of Consumer Reports
The FCRA requires that Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRAs) like Checkr provide users of consumer reports the attached document, "Notice to Users of Consumer Reports: Obligations of Users under the FCRA", to inform them of their obligations under the FCRA.
State and Local Forms
The attached documents are presented to candidates as part of the default Checkr consent workflow, as applicable.
Remedying the Effects of Identity Theft
The attached "Summary of Rights for Victims of Identity Theft" must be provided to candidates who have had their identity stolen. This version reflects the compliance changes mandated by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as of September 21, 2018.
